Upright Sedum
FULL SUN - Drought Tolerant
Marina: The border varieties of Stonecrop are a dependable choice for the late summer and fall garden, offering foliage interest earlier in the season, then a colourful display of flowers in the autumn. This selection produces a low mound of blue-grey, oblong leaves that tint purple in summer. Clusters of rich rose-pink flowers are held on strong, compact stems in late summer. Even the dried seed heads have good winter effect. Good cutflower, also attractive to butterflies.
Dark Knight: This colourful selection has purple-black foliage that forms a low mound. Clusters of bright magenta-pink flowers appear in late summer and fall. Great for edging and rock gardens as well as in containers.
Pillow Talk: This selection is a compact, mid-sized hybrid and features rose-red stems and large, fleshy, grey-green foliage that occasionally has pink edging. Clusters of dark pink to magenta flowers are held on tall flower spikes in late summer. Even the dried seed heads have good winter effect. Good cutflower, also attractive to butterflies.
